Bread and wine

We shall break bread. We shall drink wine. This is our holy fusion

 

COMMUNION

We are not in Holy Union,

But this will not stop communion,

If this be transubstantiation,

I’ll get Catholic every time.

 

I will never lapse or err,

Just as long as you are there;

I’ll take your holy orders

And follow in your faith.

 

So, pray

Divest your vestments

While I am in the shower,

Then we’ll transubstantiate

In a liturgical hour.

 

And after second coming

We’ll break bread, and we’ll take wine.

In this moment of Communion.

I’ll get Catholic every time.
