It is the curse of the smartphone – for years, I soldiered on with my solid old dumb phone – I was dumb, because I only used it as a phone. Then, in June, dumb phone died and smart phone came into my life … Wow!! This thing has a camera and I can post on Instagram. Since then, everyday has become a photo. I still carry my real camera that I keep for real photos but I am now in the world of carry less and shoot more and shoot more crap than before
The exercise is a simple one – two minutes in the morning to compose and post a photo with whatever coems to hand – still life, words of wisdom, a packet of washing powder, fruit skins a Post It note, something from the kitchen trash – it’s all good for the mad world of Instagram. Here are a few of my two minute takes.
